Preparing for Travel

It has been a strange week. There is lots to do here, but my mind is already in England. On Monday, I will be leaving for Bogota, and then early Tuesday morning, my 14 hour flight to the UK.
The three weeks following should be full of adventures. My main priority? To spend as much time as possible with my kids in Skelmersdale.

Visit To Girón

Downpour Dance

We went out on the town this evening, sporting umbrellas.
I felt strangely excited about that. Having spent 30 years in England, I always travel with an umbrella, and in fact, I had taken two of them to Colombia. This was the first time I had the opportunity to use them.
Walking around with our English umbrellas, we attracted much attention, from the many people watching the phenomenon from the safety of their front doors.

The Move to Villa de Leyva

Hey kiddies!
I am writing to you from my new desk in my new office/music room. It is still pitch black outside, since it is only quarter to 5 here. The cocks are busy though, they are making their wake-up call from about 3 am onwards.
The move went quite smoothly. We managed to get everything ready according to plan. This is something I had not expected, because Greys and Vanessa are always behind any and every schedule.
